John Cook serves as Vice Chairman on KAZEE’s Board of Directors and most recently served as Program Director of Federal Health for Accenture Federal Services. Before joining Accenture, Cook served as Vice President of Suss Consulting’s Health IT Practice and the President and Chief Operating Officer of KaZee, Inc. During his tenure with KAZEE, Mr. Cook gained a wealth of knowledge regarding the U.S. public health system, the implementation and support of electronic medical records, and the employment of information technology to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and safety of healthcare systems.
Before joining KAZEE, Mr. Cook had 20 years of experience as the senior executive in charge of the healthcare solution businesses of BDM, Inc., TRW, Inc., and Northrop Grumman Corporation. During this time, he led the healthcare practices of these companies, playing a major role in capturing business within the DOD, CDC, FDA, and other areas of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He also served as the senior executive in charge of program and customer management that comprised the healthcare business bases of these companies and was responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of comprehensive plans for program growth and maintenance.
Mr. Cook has over 20 years of experience working in the Federal government, having served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. During his years of service, he gained extensive experience in program management, program planning, and policy development. In his final assignment for the Pentagon, Cook, was a key player in the development of casualty estimation models and the methodology for estimating healthcare systems requirements for the Air Force.
Mr Cook holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College and an MBA from Syracuse University.
